You Might Feel This
Out now!
December 10, 2021
With my first poetry collection, I did not want to over-edit and polish true emotion. I want my words and feelings to translate off the page from when I was writing. I did not want to overthink it. I want my words and feelings to convey naturally. Poetry should not be overly polished. Write what you're feeling in the moment. Do not get bogged down in trying to perfect it. You are what you feel
That is what the following blank pages are for. Write and draw how you feel. The decision lies in your hands alone. Share this book with others if you wish. Write amazing poetry you'd love to share with the world. I want to change the world with our words. Our words can make a difference.
As someone who suffers from crippling anxiety. I know writing emotions can help you get a better handle on how you are feeling. Since I started writing poetry, I discovered it is a good way to vent when you have no one else to talk to, or anyone that understands.
I want this collection to help you feel something. It might even awaken the poet inside you. I want it to help you through a difficult time you may be enduring. Keep being who you are. Write the next great poem. If you are an artist, draw an amazing picture. These blank pages are your journal and your canvas.

William's Work

Ceremony For Heartbeats
October 24, 2022
It will be my largest poetry collection yet, with over pages. After each poem, you will be able to add your own thoughts on the blank pages.
Please allow me to introduce you to an amazing outlet of thought,
An antidote for worry and pain.
It is the written word.
For me, I call it poetry

Finish Your Thoughts
February 7th, 2022
Let me welcome you to my second poetry collection Chapbook, Finish Your Thoughts. My goal for this collection was the same as my first, You Might Feel This. It was important to me that the words in the poems make you feel something.
Once again, I have included blank pages following the poems for you to write your own thoughts or poems. I want to continue this trend because of the positive response to this concept and I truly feel it is helpful to get your thoughts out of your head and onto the paper in front of you. I want to help you as much as writing poetry has helped me.
Furthermore, I'd like to thank you all for your overwhelming support of my poetry so far. The poetry community has been nothing but supportive and welcoming. My goal is to continue to improve my skills as a poet and continue to bring you more poetry in the years to come. Right now, we are in a dark place, and I want to give you a creative outlet and maybe even an opportunity to experience some mindfulness.
Thank you again for purchasing this book and giving my means of escape a chance.

Your poems always feel as though there is your bare soul in the words. That we are getting a glimpse into your inner world

William Thomas Brumley’s poetry resonates with me. He is a master of extended metaphor (conceit), weaving imagery & emotion together to capture the beauty and pain of being human.

“I just love William’s poetry. It kinda reminds me of Emily Dickinson’s poems. The themes about death, sadness, and melancholy are deep, full of emotion
Olivia Arnould Sampaio

Will approaches literature with an astounding curiosity and dedication. The relatability in the emotional appeals of his writing always leaves me looking forward to his next work.

When I read William's work, I am immediately touched by his use of the English language.
I can tell that with every word written it truly comes from his soul.
He writes what he feels and he allows others to feel it through him.
Absolutely brilliant poet. I would advise anyone who hasn't read his work, to definitely check it out.
