Enter Label, Enter New Away Message

What can I honestly say that has not already been said? My first poetry collection is now published. It is the first entry into the new world of poetry and honestly, I do not know what to expect. I would love to be able to say I sold a thousand copies and it was revived with amazingly, positive praise for a debuting poet. We are allowed to have dreams like this no? It is what makes life tolerable in uncertain times.

This book is a peek into the mind of the writer. It brings up questions. What were they feeling? What made them feel like this? Where does this inspiration come from? That is what I love about poetry. It can always mean something else to each individual. It does not need to be directed and held under a microscope to be understood. You simply just feel the words.

I have noticed a sort of poetry renaissance as of late and I want to help keep poetry alive and thriving well into the future. It has helped me and so many others cope with dark times in their lives. Poetry is a clever beast. You can write amazing poetry while you are sad or when you feel on top of the world. It is the perfect outlet to release your creativity into the world.

There are blank pages in my poetry collection. I would love to see some of your amazing poetry fill those spaces or your artwork.
